There have been many events in recent times.
The Oyama family organization has been reorganized. The principles of organization, which were laid down by the founder of Kyokushin, are embodied! The basis of these principles is the separation of the sporting activities of the organization and the belt graduation system according to the Teacher – Student system.
The reason for the split of the organization after the departure of Sosai Masutatsu Oyama was the merger of sports and martial arts.
Therefore, in different countries, the human factor of ambition played a cruel joke with the followers of “The Cleanest, Lightest Like Red Gold” of the Kyokushin Kaikann Martial Art.
Having realized everything that happened, we decided to take the only step that would lead to what Sosai taught: “Treat yourself strictly, and treat others with understanding and love.” It is very difficult, but it can be done.
That is why, restoring justice in the organization of the Oyama family, we are turned to the sources, the foundations of the doctrine:
- Martial art. It is practiced through the continuity of the relationship between the Teacher and the Student. In whose relationship to intervene is immoral. The presence or absence of a sports aspect? this is the second section.
- Sports cooperation. Has a temporary, individual relationship to the martial art of Kyokushin kaikan. Missing belt gradation! Athletes enter the competition without indicating their belt gradation. A 4-year cycle of competitions has been compiled from Competitions in the country to World Competitions.
It is the attempts to unite these two areas that are the “bone of contention”. We will divide them, and let there be free access to competitions for those who have passed the selection according to the rules of the organization of the country and the laws of the country. The path is open.
Martial art and sports, you can find an analogy in the scripture “… give to God – godly, and Caesar – Caesarean.” And you should not try to unite the two by force.

After reading the questionnaire of a member of the organization. You will be convinced that we really made the decision, by separating Sports and Martial Arts, to unite the followers of Oyama Sosai. No one is forbidden to participate in the competitions of any organization, proving their sporting ambitions, following all the necessary legal requirements. And the Teacher will pass by himself when the Student is ready.
A huge number of worthy students of Master Oyama created their own organizations and this is inevitable. The aspiration of our organization is this: Let us seek common ground between us, and not seek out differences. Sport is that element that can be the first step towards cooperation between organizations. A succession of the teacher – the student will approve moral education.
