Our mission

Revision of June 30, 2025

We carry out the intentions of Masutatsu Oyama and the principles of the Dojo Kun, recognizing his teachings and ensuring their continuity. The foundation is the Branch registered in December 1993 and the intellectual property of each organization.

We may enter into temporary or permanent agreements with the Oyama family, but only on lawful grounds, in compliance with national laws and each organization’s statute.

We adhere to the principle of filial respect, passing on the spirit and skills of Kyokushinkai to future generations.

We welcome all members of the conglomerate of organizations and uphold Sosai’s words:

“Be strict with yourself, and sincere with others.”

By following this philosophy, we preserve the traditions of Kyokushinkai and contribute to their development.

Every person who enters the Society of Seekers of Absolute Truth commits to remain faithful and honest.

We recognize the legitimacy of all Branch Chiefs appointed by Oyama, as well as the role of Uchi Deshi in the development of Kyokushinkaikan. When creating new organizations, we use the symbols and signatures that maintain continuity with the family of origin.

We reject the unauthorized use of Oyama’s signature or portraits. Commercial exploitation of intellectual property without the owner’s permission is unlawful. Missionary work in karate and business are not the same. Public organizations should not depend on the constant change of trademark holders. Our way is the relationship of Teacher and Student, not business partnership.

The conglomerate of organizations serves as a foundation for cooperation aimed at the ethical and sincere study of the heritage entrusted to us by Masutatsu Oyama. The right to interpret this heritage belongs only to those whom he himself authorized. Anything else is business, unrelated to karate.

The journey in Kyokushinkaikan requires honesty and loyalty. To stray from this course means to follow another path, perhaps even a worthy one, but still a different one. If a person makes a mistake and does not correct it—where is honesty? If a promise is made but not kept—where is loyalty?

Stay away from dishonest and selfish people. This is the first step to understanding the Path of Kyokushinkaikan.
